********* PANIC ATTACKS *********

"Take time each day to be still. In being still, you calm the stormy waters, & allow the sun & the moon to be reflected on the surface of your being. And feel the peace & serenity that is always present within."  excerpted from Kay Proudfoot's Inspirational Cards

If at anytime you suffer from panic attacks or anxiety, follow these guidelines.

1. Take a glass of water and sip it 3 times. As you take a sip, breathe in. As you swallow, breathe out and feel it slide down your throat. Then drink the rest of the glass.

2. Keep your eyes focused ahead of you at forehead level. DO NOT LOOK DOWN. This makes it worse.

3. Place feet wide apart and as you breathe deeply in and out through your nose, keeping eyes straight ahead, bend and straighten your legs. Position arms about 6" from your body, palms facing forward. This movement and breathing will shift the emotion. Do this for at least 5 minutes.

4. Go out into nature and feel your feet firmly on the ground. Look up to the sky and breathe deeply. You can do point 3 outside too. It is more powerful in nature.

5. Buy Bach Flower RESCUE REMEDY. This is a tincture that has a powerful calming effect. It can be used for any sort of trauma or anxiety. It is a natural remedy so cannot be overdosed and does not interfere with any medication. It is great for pets and kids too.
